In July 2015 I became director of the Stigler Center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
The Center aims to promote and disseminate research on regulatory capture, crony capitalism, and the various distortions that special interest groups impose on capitalism.

Exciting job openings at the Stigler Center

Last July I became director of the Stigler Center at the University of Chicago.
My goal is to refocus the center towards the promotion and diffusion of research on regulatory capture and the various distortions that special interest groups imposed on capitalism.

We are currently working on refining the plan and assembling the team. It is a challenging and exciting task. The themes of our research are the focus of debate in the US and in the world. 2016, with the presidential election, promises to be a particularly exciting year. We plan to monitor the election in a very original way.
A lot of exciting work is ahead of us, thus if you are talented and passionate about these issues, consider applying for a position as a research professional at the Stigler Center. We accept applications from all over the world.
